About The Position
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
Requirements
- HS/GED
- Experience with computer components, Windows operating systems, and software
- Ability to troubleshoot IT problems and apply known solutions
- Must meet baseline certification requirements in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT-I category or higher
- Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. Citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Assists in ensuring availability, accessibility, and usability of Information Technology (IT) hardware and software for IT enterprise
- Responds to PC users’ requests for assistance – primarily by telephone and e-mail messages – with hardware, applications or software either locally installed or network-based, and network connectivity in person or telephonically; troubleshoot, resolve or escalate to higher-level for resolution
- Installs software on personal computers (PCs)
- Performs routine maintenance of PC hardware and software
- Prepares new PCs for use, and previously used PCs for reuse
- Administers PC users’ IT, including ensuring compliance with security requirements
