About The Position
A personal care home in Quakertown, PA is seeking personal care assistants (PCA) to be part of enriching the daily lives of our residents. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this position. If you’re a compassionate, and positive person who loves working with the elderly, then this is a job for you! Previous experience in personal care for the elderly is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate! Our personal care assistants (PCA) are responsible for assisting residents with showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, laundry and transportation to/from the dining room.
Requirements
- Committed to health & safety
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent is required by law
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as personal care assistant is preferred
