  • Ability to learn different city, county, and state permitting rules and guidelines
  • Understanding of all phases of the permitting process
  • At least 1-3 years of progressively challenging permitting experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Ability to learn or create a system to track and manage multiple permits in various phases of progress
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software

Responsibilities

  • Submit permit applications for construction projects
  • Track and manage the lifecycles of permits to include change orders
  • Interact with the city, county, and state municipalities relating to permitting
  • Understand permitting code and policy
