About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Perioperative Technician for their Outpatient Surgery Center in La Crosse, WI. This role involves preparing patients for procedures, assisting clinicians, starting IVs, restocking supplies, and collecting specimens for laboratory analysis. Gundersen Health System is a physician-led, not-for-profit healthcare system that serves over 500,000 residents across 19-22 counties in western Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • 1 year of work experience working in a health care setting
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
