About The Position

Lead Emergency Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center is 0.9 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift. The Lead Emergency Technician oversees the work of Emergency Technicians. The position coordinates the completion of the orientation on all new Emergency Technicians, Patient Care Techs and Health Unit Coordinators, in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the Nurse Educator. The position oversees the stocking of and cleaning of the department as well as the completion of all daily checklists. Acts as a resource to the other technicians. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years recent Emergency Technician experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: EMT, EMS, CNA1, and/or CNA2
