About The Position

Emergency Technician at Providence Seaside Hospital. This is a Full-Time (0.9 FTE), Night Shift position, with (3) 12-Hour Shift with rotating weekends and scheduled holidays. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Requirements

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually.
• 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate.
