About The Position

Under general direction of the Manager, the intern pharmacist performs a variety of professional level functions to assist in providing patients with optimum pharmaceutical care. The intern pharmacist's efforts are directed primarily toward participating in the perioperative technician workflow, collaborating with pharmacists on projects and quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with OR physicians and nurses. This is an exciting area for interns to learn in and participate in a unique area of pharmacy practice.
