With our passion, creativity, and innovation, “We capture what moves”. We have an immediate opening for a Perfumery Technician at our Parsippany, NJ Creative Center! The general scope of this role will be to perform day to day lab operations and support the Perfumers with compounding trial oils, for purposes of evaluation and testing.

Requirements

High School Graduate
1+ years' experience in the flavor and fragrance industry
Olfactive Skills
Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Computer Skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance of the palette of ingredients (quantitatively and qualitatively) necessary to weigh the sample from the formula.
Checks integrity of raw material/oil in bottle, compounds accurately and in a timely fashion by following procedures and instructions written on the worksheet. Accountable for first oil sample sent to customer which will become the standard (reference) for future resampling.
Follows Good Laboratory Practices as instructed.
Puts the oils freshly compounded in bases upon request. Bring Perfumer's trials to Applications if necessary.
Manages and files oil leftovers for quick retrieval (for olfactive reference, QC, etc.)
Responsible for tidiness of the workstation and lab.
Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.
