Requirements

  • Automotive Degree
  • 5 years of experience working on engines
  • Past Experience working on ICE engine high-performance gasoline, diesel, or alternative-fuel engines.
  • Hands-on experience with Engines
  • Machining, fabrication, or welding skills (CNC/programming a plus).
  • Engine-simulation or modeling software familiarity valued.
  • High attention to detail, rock-solid organization, and strict commitment to quality & confidentiality.
  • Computer prowess: email, file management, Excel; bonus for calibration or RacePak software experience.
  • Personal set of professional hand tools in a rolling box.

Nice To Haves

  • Machining, fabrication, or welding skills (CNC/programming a plus).
  • Engine-simulation or modeling software familiarity valued.

Responsibilities

  • Tear down disassemble and build engines, diagnose wear patterns and failure modes.
  • Balance rotating assemblies, set ring gaps, torque to spec, and document every step.
  • Analyze root causes, propose design tweaks or machining fixes, and loop findings back to the R&D team.
  • Knowledgeable on how to utilize hand tools, torque wrenches, Calipers, block hone, Lathes etc
  • Ability to clean parts
  • Familiarity with tool sets.
  • Dimensional Analysis of components measuring and documentation.
  • Drive execution at the highest level and proud of job completion.
