Join our team as a Per Diem Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Office Practice Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our Hematologic Malignancies division. The role involves working within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Office Practice Model, providing clinical support to staff members, and assisting with the management of a caseload of ambulatory hematology services patients receiving treatment. This includes performing patient assessment, symptom management, and offering patient and family education. The nurse will also participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum and participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

Requirements

  • New York State RN license and BSN
  • 1.5-2 years of RN experience required

  • A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that maintain high standards of nursing care within the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Hematology oncology (Leukemia, Lymphoma, or Myeloma) and ambulatory care experience preferred
