The Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for operating the telephone switchboard, routing calls, conveying messages, and providing authorized information to callers. This role involves performing reception duties, greeting and directing visitors, managing visitor sign-in and sign-out, and maintaining current patient listings. The receptionist must ensure that only authorized patient and business information is disclosed and maintain a neat and organized workstation. A key aspect of the position is treating patients, their families, visitors, and other staff members with respect, courtesy, and compassion, and demonstrating teamwork through a considerate, friendly, constructive attitude, flexibility, support, and cooperation.
