About The Position

TECKpert's client, a government agency in Miami-Dade County, FL, is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of PeopleSoft ERP systems. This role involves integrations with both internal and external systems, development of reports, queries, and analytics, workflow setup and maintenance, defect and performance analysis, and participation in upgrade projects. The consultant will work with multiple customers and areas, document business processes and requirements, write comprehensive technical design and support documentation, and support change control methodology. PeopleSoft tools experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and systems analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft ERP systems, including development, configuration, and maintenance. PeopleSoft tools proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, including database design and stored procedure development.
  • Experience writing comprehensive technical design and support documentation.
  • Ability to develop reports, queries, and analytics within an ERP environment.
  • Experience with system integrations between internal and external platforms.
  • Familiarity with change control methodology and established SDLC practices.
  • Ability to analyze system defects and performance issues and drive resolution.
  • Experience participating in ERP upgrade projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and maintain PeopleSoft ERP system modules and components.
  • Build and manage integrations with both internal and external county systems.
  • Develop reports, queries, and analytics that present data and support decision-making.
  • Set up and maintain workflows within the PeopleSoft environment.
  • Analyze system defects and performance issues and implement problem resolution.
  • Participate in upgrade projects, including testing, validation, and deployment support.
  • Work with multiple customers and areas to gather, document, and translate business processes and requirements.
  • Write comprehensive technical design and support documentation.
  • Perform database design and procedure development using Oracle DB.
  • Support and work within established change control methodology.
