The People Success Analyst position offers the chance to collaborate closely with people managers, TriNet's People Team, and other cross-functional stakeholders, tackle genuine workplace issues and requests, and make a meaningful impact on TriNet's People initiatives. The Analyst is the initial point of contact for one or more primary People Success focus areas based on business needs and expertise, all of which share common expectations around judgment, documentation rigor, confidentiality, and cross-functional partnership. Focus areas provide diverse, hands-on exposure to People Success policy and compliance, manager enablement, and/or colleague relations processes within a centralized People Success model. This role is critical in providing consistent, scalable, and thoughtful support for managers and colleagues by applying and helping to define processes, exercising sound discretionary judgment, and contributing to continuous improvement through data, insights, resource and training creation and delivery, and strong operational execution. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR while building upon your problem solving, consultation, and judgment skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or Equivalent education and experience
  • Typically 2+ years experience in Human Resources or related work functions
  • Strong ability to assess, triage, and coordinate requests in a high-volume, service-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with case management or service request systems (Oracle or similar) and maintaining accurate data.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, apply defined processes, and escalate or partner appropriately.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, including presentation/facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); comfortable learning new systems and tools.
  • Interest in building practical knowledge of People Success practices, internal guidelines, and employment laws through hands-on experience.
  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting continuous improvement and scale.
  • Demonstrates ability to work on complex issues where analysis of differing situations or data requires evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation of criteria for acquiring results.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws with a strong desire to continue learning.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a positive manager experience by reinforcing a self-service-first model, helping managers navigate available tools and resources, and identifying opportunities to improve clarity, accessibility, and usability. The individual will also support manager enablement initiatives, including projects, office hours, training materials, playbooks, and related resources across the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for TriNet’s people-related requests, challenges or initiatives, by managing service requests through the People Platform (Oracle) and other channels and assessing risk and complexity to provide either direct consultation for routine to moderate complexity or timely triaging/escalation of sensitive or high-risk matters.
  • Partners with business managers, People Business Partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders as appropriate to resolve routine and moderately complex people matters by guiding them to and through appropriate resources, tools, and standard practices, and by coordinating support with People Success team members when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Identify trends and risks in data and turn insights into clear quarterly and ad hoc reports, training recommendations, and presentation/other materials that inform improvements to People Success content, processes, and compliance.
  • Maintain People Success SharePoint and Source sites, content libraries, and process documentation, including organization, version control, and periodic content reviews from subject matter experts to ensure resources remain accurate and relevant, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
