About The Position

We're seeking a People Systems Analyst to join our Glue / Information Technology team and serve as a Workday specialist focused on Time Off & Absence Management, Time Tracking, and Payroll configuration. You'll own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of these Workday modules while supporting Harvey's rapid global expansion by building out country-specific plans and payroll integrations. This role is responsible for ensuring our people systems scale seamlessly as we enter new countries, integrate with third-party payroll providers, and deliver accurate, compliant, and user-friendly experiences for employees and managers worldwide. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Workday configurator with deep expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules, who thrives in a high-growth environment and can balance tactical system work with strategic roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday configuration and administration, with deep hands-on expertise in Time Off/Absence Management, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules.
  • Proven experience supporting global expansion within Workday, including configuring country-specific time off plans, absence policies, time tracking rules, and payroll setups.
  • Experience building and managing Workday integrations, particularly payroll integrations (e.g., Global Payroll Connect, EIBs, Core Connectors, or Studio integrations).
  • Strong proficiency in Workday custom report writing, including advanced reports, calculated fields, and scheduled/automated report delivery.
  • Experience with Workday security configuration, including domain and business process security, role-based access, and audit readiness.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday Time Off & Absence plans across multiple countries, including accrual rules, carryover policies, balance limits, proration, and termination payouts — ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Build and manage Time Tracking configurations in Workday, including work schedules, time entry templates, approval workflows, and overtime/validation rules for global locations.
  • Support Payroll configuration and integrations, including US Payroll within Workday and Global Payroll Connect (GPC) integrations with third-party payroll providers.
  • Support global expansion efforts by configuring onboarding, time off, absence, time tracking, and compensation plans for new countries as Harvey opens offices worldwide (e.g., Ireland, India, France, Singapore, Germany).
  • Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday to support People Ops, Finance, Payroll, and cross-functional stakeholders with headcount, time off balances, payroll reconciliation, compliance audits, and other operational data needs.
  • Manage Workday integrations with Payroll and Finance systems
  • Partner cross-functionally with People Ops, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and IT to gather requirements, design scalable processes, and deliver system solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Manage Workday release cycles, including reviewing new features, running regression testing, and deploying configuration updates to production.
