About The Position

As a key member of our People Services team, you’ll help create a seamless employee experience from day one and beyond. This role is being recruited at the People Services Generalist I, II, and III levels. The selected candidate will be placed in the appropriate level based on their qualifications, experience, and demonstrated competencies.

Requirements

  • One or more years’ experience in fact-paced office setting required, working with educational processes or human resources processes preferred.
  • Oracle HRIS experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet program (Excel preferred) to analyze data and prepare accurate and easily interpreted reports.
  • Demonstrated moderate proficiency in office software required (Microsoft preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to research best practices and make recommendations to incorporate into current policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to use feedback from diverse individuals or groups and implement an effective solution, including ensuring compliance with legal and system policy requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement decisions using effective interpersonal skills and without sacrificing relationships.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a business or relevant related position required; Previous experience in healthcare or HR setting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer, the following Human Resources systems/laws in a healthcare setting preferred including policy development and implementation, compliance monitoring, human resource measurement, monitoring and bench-marking.
  • Working knowledge of Title VII and other applicable federal and state employment laws; and employee communications/relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet program (Excel preferred) to analyze data and prepare accurate and easily interpreted reports.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in office software required (Microsoft preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to research best practices and incorporate into current systems.
  • Ability to work with and test HRIS systems preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a human resources related position required; healthcare setting experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the following Human Resources systems/laws in a healthcare setting required: policy development, implementation, and compliance monitoring;
  • working knowledge of human resource measurement, monitoring and bench-marking.
  • Working knowledge of Title VII and other applicable federal and state employment laws;
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet program (Excel preferred) to analyze data and prepare accurate and easily interpreted reports.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in office software required (Microsoft preferred)
  • Ability to work with and test HRIS systems required, Oracle is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office to produce clear, accurate reports
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies using research and best practices
  • Skilled in gathering feedback, solving problems, and ensuring legal compliance
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to implement decisions while maintaining positive relationships
  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision
  • Capable of leading diverse groups and achieving goals in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
  • Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset, high ethical standards, and discretion with confidential information

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM CP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Keep our job architecture sharp and ensure every team member is accurately placed within our HRIS system
  • Partner with onboarding to help deliver welcoming, engaging New Employee Orientations
  • Support HR dashboards and reporting, helping us turn data into meaningful insights
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our HRIS system
  • Conduct exit interviews and contribute to thoughtful reporting that drives improvement
  • Collaborate on testing, developing, and implementing system enhancements and process improvements
  • Participate in compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with state, federal, and DNV accreditation standards
  • Step in to support other People Services Generalists, whether level I, II, or III when needed—because teamwork matters
  • Take on additional projects that support our evolving People strategy
