About The Position

Further information is available at www.newflyer.com . This position is responsible for all required assemblies and installations on coaches while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer leaves of absences including FMLA, STD, LTD, and other Approved Leaves of Absences along with tracking of employee personal work restrictions log.
  • Conducts initial intake interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters, harassment complaints and other investigations.
  • Participate in Grievance Meetings with the Union.
  • Post quarterly shift bump notices per the Union Contract.
  • Assist leadership with attendance policy administration and workplace disciplines. Track and maintain discipline levels on required log.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and participate by attending hearings on behalf of the company.
  • Maintain company bulletin boards to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local posting requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR team to review, roll-out and implement Human Resources policies and procedures and internal communications.
  • Assist with scheduling monthly All Plant Meetings, including scheduling and confirming interpreter for employees.
  • Facilitates company random drug testing program.
  • Coordinate, track, compile and report out data for Roundtable Meetings, 30 Day Feedback Surveys, and exit interviews.
  • Compile and prepare data for employee terminations to present to HR Manager for review.
  • Serve as backup for Time & Attendance data entry, daily and weekly reporting and payroll data entry as needed.
  • Coordinate floral arrangements for various occasions with proper notification to the Union and Leadership as needed.
