About The Position

The HR Intern will provide hands-on support across core People Operations, Talent Acquisition and office-related functions while gaining exposure to HR processes in a fast-growing technology company. This is a part-time role based in the Arlington, VA area and designed to support day-to-day HR operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding activities, and office administration.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Ability to work part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) during standard business hours
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Local to the Arlington, VA area and able to come into the office 3-5 days a week

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or administrative experience
  • Interest in Human Resources, recruiting, or People Operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
  • Experience supporting office operations or administrative tasks

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee file maintenance and HRIS data updates
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and supporting candidate communications
  • Support onboarding activities such as new hire logistics, welcome materials, and first-day preparation
  • Source, review, and screen candidate profiles, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interviewers to support an efficient, high-quality hiring process
  • Partner with the People team on employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and gift coordination
  • Handle office-related responsibilities including checking physical mail, shipping and mailing items, and maintaining basic office supplies
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
