About The Position

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As our People Operations Associate , you’ll build and own the systems that power our team — everything from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, and compliance. You’ll take over work currently handled by external partners and bring it in-house, partnering closely with leadership to scale Profound’s people infrastructure as we grow.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar role in a fast-paced startup.
  • Fluent in HR systems (ideally Rippling ) and comfortable managing vendors, benefits, and payroll.
  • Skilled at working with recruiters, lawyers, and finance teams to get things done.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive — you see problems before they happen.
  • Low-ego operator who loves to build processes that make the company run smoother.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale all things People Ops — sourcing talent, hiring, onboarding, compensation, and compliance.
  • Manage Rippling across payroll, benefits, devices, and system integrations.
  • Partner with recruiters to drive hiring operations, profiling, and headcount planning.
  • Oversee commission agreements , offer letters, and employment documentation.
  • Work directly with lawyers on contracts, immigration, and compliance.
  • Manage benefits programs — from renewals to open enrollment.
