About The Position

This role is designed for a hands-on, execution-oriented HR professional to own the end-to-end People Operations function in a high-growth, global organization. You will manage the full employee lifecycle across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S. and international locations, ensuring compliance, smooth processes, and positive employee experiences. Success in this position requires balancing operational excellence with strategic insight, building scalable HR processes, and serving as a trusted partner to Finance, Legal, and business leaders. You will manage benefits, payroll coordination, performance cycles, and sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism. This is a highly impactful role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to contribute directly to the company’s growth, culture, and organizational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of hands-on HR/People Operations experience in growing or high-growth companies.
  • Direct experience managing U.S. PEO and at least one international EOR.
  • Strong expertise in benefits, compensation, and performance management cycles.
  • Proven ability to independently handle terminations and sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience building scalable processes from scratch and improving operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Finance and Legal teams.
  • Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in startups or high-growth companies (25–150 employees) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding, offboarding, role changes, promotions, compensation updates, and performance improvement plans across U.S. PEO and international EORs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions or issues, managing investigations, complaints, and sensitive matters in collaboration with Legal.
  • Manage U.S. PEO relationships, including benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance.
  • Oversee international EOR operations, ensuring contracts, benefits, and compliance are handled effectively.
  • Maintain employment documentation, personnel files, and audit-ready records across all jurisdictions.
  • Lead annual benefits renewal processes and communicate updates to employees.
  • Manage compensation bands, benchmarking, and support data-driven offer and promotion decisions.
  • Design and administer performance review cycles, creating simple, durable HR processes that managers can use effectively.
