We are seeking a People Operations Manager to own and run the core people operations at Parcion during a period of continued growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role serves as the central point of ownership for people processes, systems and operational execution across the firm. This role is well suited for a hands-on people operations leader who values clarity, accountability and continuous improvement. The People Operations Manager will ensure the fundamentals of the employee experience are consistently delivered as Parcion grows. The Opportunity The People Operations Manager is the primary owner of day-to-day people operations at Parcion. This role partners closely with Finance and firm Directors to support hiring, onboarding, employee lifecycle processes and ongoing people needs. This is an execution-focused role centered on hands-on ownership and execution, with success defined by consistency, clarity and operational excellence. You will be responsible for making sure people operations are run well, issues are handled thoughtfully, and leaders have a reliable partner they can count on.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in HR, People Operations or a similar generalist role
  • Strong experience administering HRIS platforms; ADP experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with external recruiters and HR partners
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment practices and compliance basics
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who builds trust across levels
  • Practical, grounded and execution-focused
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding
  • Execute performance cycles, reviews and related processes
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, escalating to external partners when appropriate
  • Ensure policies, documentation and compliance practices are consistently applied
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity
  • Own onboarding execution and continuously improve the onboarding experience
  • Coordinate hiring workflows with Directors and external recruiters
  • Manage offer letters, pre-employment steps and onboarding transitions
  • Support lift-out hires and complex onboarding scenarios as they arise
  • Improve onboarding materials, documentation and playbooks
  • Administer HRIS and people systems, including ADP
  • Oversee benefits administration and ensure positive employee experiences across the lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary liaison with ADP and other HR service providers
  • Partner with Finance on payroll, benefits coordination and data accuracy
  • Ensure systems are used efficiently and consistently across the firm
  • Partner closely with Directors to support their teams and people needs
  • Coordinate with Finance on compensation administration, payroll timing and reporting
  • Provide clear communication and follow-through on people-related processes
  • Bring a calm, solutions-oriented approach to employee matters
  • Support learning and development initiatives tied to onboarding or role readiness
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce administrative friction
  • Drive HRIS and LMS platform engagement, continue to enhance with integrations and AI capabilities
  • Leverage AI tools to innovate and improve engagement and retention
  • Automate training workflows to reduce administrative load, expand reach and scalability
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and apply best practices in upskilling and reskilling
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce administrative friction
