We're building something different at Rillet — and we need someone who wants to build the people function to match. This isn't a traditional HR role, and we're not looking for a traditional HR person. We want someone who finds legacy process exhausting, thinks AI should be doing the manual work, and wants to own the full people operations function at a company scaling from 85 to 200+ employees in the next 12 months. You'll be in the weeds and in the room. Running point on immigration cases, benefits, payroll, and compliance one hour — advising leadership on how we scale our culture without diluting it the next. If you've ever looked at a bloated HR process and thought I could rebuild this in a week and make it ten times better, you'll feel at home here. We're looking for teammates who value in-person collaboration and are within commutable distance of our NYC (or willing to relocate). Team members are required to work in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible in-office day. Certain roles may require additional in-office time based on function.
