The People Operations Lead plays a critical role in executing and scaling Siepe’s people operations across the U.S. and global workforce. This role owns day-to-day operational excellence across payroll, benefits administration, compliance, HR systems, and the employee lifecycle - ideal for a highly organized, systems-oriented operator who thrives in a growing environment and brings both precision and a continuous-improvement mindset to our global people operations team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a related role.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. payroll, benefits administration, and employment compliance.
  • Experience supporting multi-state employees; global exposure is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple operational priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Highly prefer hands-on experience with Paylocity (payroll, benefits, reporting, workflows).
  • Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization.
  • Exposure to international payroll or global employment models.
  • Experience improving or implementing HR systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end people operations across the U.S. and international workforce, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Serve as a primary operational partner to the Director of People Operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on payroll, audits, and compliance needs.
  • Manage accurate and timely payroll processing across all regions.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, life events, renewals, and employee inquiries.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and international employment regulations.
  • Maintain strong documentation and support audits as needed.
  • Own day-to-day administration of HR systems, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and reporting tools.
  • Lead system updates, workflow automation, and analyze People data trends for ongoing process improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and system optimization.
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a consistent and compliant employee experience.
  • Manage employee changes such as transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Track and administer FTO in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve people operations processes and efficiency.
  • Build repeatable, scalable workflows to support company growth.
  • Support the Director of People Operations on initiatives related to global expansion and operational readiness.
