Felix Construction Company is seeking a People Operations Intern currently enrolled in an accredited Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related program for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions in a growing construction company, including onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and people processes. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities upon graduation. What You’ll Be Doing Support the People Operations team with new hire onboarding and orientation preparation Assist with employee records, documentation, and HRIS data accuracy Help coordinate training sessions, employee communications, and internal programs Support compliance-related processes including policy acknowledgements and required documentation Assist with benefits administration support, open enrollment preparation, and employee questions (as appropriate) Help plan and support employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring and onboarding initiatives Assist with special HR projects focused on process improvement and employee experience Complete an assigned People Operations project and present your results to the team Gain exposure to multiple areas of HR and how People Ops supports field and office employees Work out of our Phoenix, AZ office Who You Are Pursuing a 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field Interested in a career in Human Resources or People Operations Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with HRIS platforms is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback Why You Should Apply You get to be part of a company culture with a family feel and strong values. Requirements

  • Pursuing a 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Interested in a career in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with HRIS platforms is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
  • Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback
