About The Position

Description: Our People & Operations Coordinator is expected to provide administrative support between Staffing Solutions and other departments at Essintial. The ideal candidate should excel in organization, communication, and adaptability. A background in computer hardware or IT technician experience, especially in IT infrastructure, cabling, or networking, is a plus but not required. IT/Field resource management a plus. Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office is essential, alongside the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced IT environment. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone eager to learn. We provide hands-on training and mentorship for candidates who are motivated and dependable, even without prior experience. Flexibility in working hours during peak times is also a key requirement. This is not remote; this is an onsite position with your team, dress code business casual.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, additional background with administration experience a plus
  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and ability to dress in business casual
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with multiple departments and field technicians
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Background with IT services and computer science education not required but a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and placing candidates in cabling project roles.
  • Communicate with company Field Service Technicians by phone and email
  • Utilize IT tools and software, particularly focusing on Microsoft Excel and Word for tech documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule tech meetings, appointments, and candidate interviews
  • Collaborate with Project department to ensure seamless tech operations and effective communication.
  • Act as a Jr. Tech manager to ensure efficient tech coaching, management, and conflict resolution
  • Prioritize and assign resources efficiently to optimize technician schedules and meet operational goals.
  • Utilize internal tools, spreadsheets, and dispatching systems to identify and assign available technicians based on service requirements and geographic location.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • And execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment
