Your Role As a People Operations Associate at Zip, you will support Zipsters across our global presence through significant life milestones, from joining the company, progressing in their careers at Zip, making crucial benefits enrollments, and more. You will enable a smooth and supported Zipster experience while ensuring data integrity across our global systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in People Operations or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven proficiency in navigating and performing high-volume tasks
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with supporting the new hire processes, including system onboarding and background check administration
  • Experience using a modern HRIS system as an operator
  • Experience improving processes with demonstrated positive outcomes in quality, efficiency, and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with benefit administration, including collaborating with brokers, administering pre-tax accounts, and supporting employee questions
  • Experience using a ticketing system

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily global benefits administration tasks, supporting Zipsters in their enrollment and maintenance of crucial and delightful benefit programs
  • Maintain the integrity of employee data within the HRIS and supporting systems with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Kick off our warm welcome of new Zipsters by managing our system onboarding and background check administration
  • Support our Immigration + Global Mobility programs to ensure we kick off and file Zipster cases quickly and smoothly
  • Support Zipsters in key life moments by quickly issuing accurate employment verifications
  • Continuously improve our processes and systems in close partnership with the full People Operations Team and cross-functional teams to ensure we scale with our growing global presence
