You will also work closely with employees and managers on leave of absence processes, employee relations coordination, and other sensitive People matters requiring discretion and strong judgment. We're looking for a motivated and energetic team player with excellent interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, and a solid understanding of People Operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist work, or a similar HR role.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, employment practices, and compliance considerations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with the utmost discretion.
  • Proficiency with various HR systems and tools, and MS Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and performing internal People processes, such as benefits administration, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation updates, and compliance-related work.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes according to company programs and guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and support reporting needs, including metrics tracking, audits, and data reconciliation.
  • Assist with benefits operations such as enrollments, changes, communications, and troubleshooting employee questions.
  • Support leave of absence (LOA) administration by guiding employees through the process and ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Provide coordination support in employee relations matters — ensuring documentation, follow-up, and recordkeeping are completed with confidentiality and care.
  • Ensure company policies remain up to date and aligned with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and cross-functional teams to support people programs such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, onboarding, and development initiatives.
  • Coordinate termination and offboarding processes, including documentation, final pay preparation, and compliance steps.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc People Ops initiatives, including process improvements, data audits, benefits and compensation operations, and system enhancements.
