The Training and Development Specialist works within the People and Culture (P&C) department in coordination and collaboration with agency partners in development, implementation, and facilitation of live and online trainings and materials related to agency needs and objectives. The Training and Development Specialist will assist with onboarding new staff, train and support staff in using our Learning Management System (LMS), and facilitate trainings which support a wide range of Cascadia staff. They will provide opportunities for employees to maintain and improve performance as well as grow in their job functions. This position must understand, appreciate, and respect the differences within our Cascadia community. As such, it is expected that this position promotes integrated care, our vision of trauma-informed and person-first approaches and helps create a work environment of acceptance.
