About The Position

Hi. We’re New Horizons In-Home Care. We care for older adults beginning to need some help around the house, seniors who want to continue living at home, individuals with disabilities, and medically fragile children. We’ve been providing care to the Oregon community for over 30 years. As a Recruiting Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our business while maintaining our commitment to excellence in care. If you're a self-starter with a passion for making a difference, this role is for you. You'll have the opportunity to analyze and optimize our recruitment processes, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of recruiting, human resources, or related experience preferred
  • Passion for fostering a supportive work environment and interest in people and culture practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google Workspace, and general business applications, or the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism and discretion

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare or healthcare recruitment is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Execute recruiting strategies to meet organizational staffing goals and attract high-quality talent
  • Engage, inspire, and support prospective care staff, highlighting our caregiver-first culture
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hires
  • Conduct employee interviews and support ongoing employee relations efforts
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, goal setting, and employee development plans
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
  • Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and professional growth
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including EEOC and ADA requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize HR systems to support people operations efficiently
