The Challenge to Solve Enable senior leaders to scale high-performing, inclusive organizations by aligning people strategy with business priorities across a rapidly growing company. The Role The People Business Partner works closely with leaders across Slice, serving as a trusted advisor and coach to regional and functional leadership teams and C-suite executives. In this role, you’ll help leaders navigate the people challenges that come with growth, from performance management and employee relations to organizational change and team development. You’ll partner with leaders to translate business priorities into practical people actions that strengthen performance, engagement, and organizational health. You’ll collaborate closely with partners across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Finance, and Legal to design and deliver people programs that are fair, consistent, and scalable. As part of the People Business Partner team, you’ll be embedded with the teams you support, acting as a connector across functions and contributing to a People team known for thoughtful, pragmatic partnership and strong business impact. Key focus areas include: Partnering with leaders across G&A and Operations on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team health. Coaching managers through performance management, feedback, employee relations, and complex people decisions. Supporting organizational change, including team growth, evolving structures, and leadership transitions. Translating business goals into people priorities and partnering cross-functionally to deliver effective people programs. Guiding organizational design and talent planning: Assess team structure, leveling, talent gaps, and succession needs, and provide thoughtful recommendations that help teams scale. Using people data, feedback, and insights to inform recommendations and improve people processes. The Team The People team at Slice is high-performing and mission-driven.
