About The Position

The PEO Account Executive is responsible for generating new business in conjunction with servicing and maintaining existing accounts for our Professional Employer Organization (PEO). This is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a growing PEO and make a significant contribution delivering comprehensive HR solutions to SMB’s located anywhere in the country. If you have proven yourself in the PEO space and want to be generously compensated for your ability to build a pipeline, conduct discovery meetings, write proposals, and work with business owners to meet and exceed sales targets, then this could be the position for you. Requirements

  • Must currently have an active Life & Health insurance license in their state of residence.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field; equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PEO and/or insurance sales or employee benefits is preferred.
  • Excellent listening and communications skills to effectively identify clients’ needs, provide guidance, and close sales.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from sourcing leads to securing a deal.
  • Create and maintain an annual/monthly/weekly plan to meet your sales targets/goals.
  • Create a consistent flow of opportunities via cold calling, marketing sequenced emails, working with our established network of insurance brokers and utilizing a network of key partners.
  • Conduct business conversations and communicate with mid-sized business owners, and C-level executives, from a diverse field of industries to help them contain costs, simplify administration, and minimize employer-related risk by moving to a consolidated HR/PEO model.
  • Manage the annual renewal process.
  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities.
  • Stay educated and understand products, market trends, and competitors within assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the quoting process for assigned market(s).
  • Participate in meetings as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to PEO, US healthcare and Sales.
  • Identify and report issues and opportunities for improvement related to processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Sales processes, including reports, metrics, and improvement plans.
  • Supporting and sustaining a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior.
  • Performing special tasks and assignments as needed.
