Peer Leader/Intern Support Staff Fitchburg High School Multiple sites Qualifications: Organized, creative, flexible, and reliable; Experience in leading activities with youth; Must be at least 14 years of age. Note: Ages 14-15 will only be placed with elementary school students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Please use the cover letter in SchoolSpring to narrate your availability. Assist with all program activities as needed; Assist with classroom help and skill-building activities for students in the areas of math and ELA. (i.e. math games, reading, vocabulary, and writing activities); Assist students in enrichment activities such as games, structured sports, crafts, etc.; Assist site coordinator with lunch coverage, snack, transition times, dismissal, and other duties assigned; Participate in staff meetings at the request of the Summer Director, Site Coordinator, or Program Supervisor; Participation in orientation and/or in-service professional development as required; Work with the Program Supervisor to plan hands-on lessons that will be offered to students; Other duties assigned.
