Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current California Nurse Practitioner licensure (or eligibility).
  • Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC/AC) required.
  • Current BLS/CPR (and PALS preferred).
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for pediatric patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care including well-child exams, acute illness visits, chronic condition management, immunizations, developmental assessments, and anticipatory guidance.
  • Collaborate with pediatric sub-specialists and primary care providers to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and appropriate treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support practice growth efforts.
