Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-Certification or Board-Eligibility in Nephrology.
  • Active CA medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent clinical skills with strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full outpatient nephrology panel including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, hypertension, and related conditions.
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals.
  • Provide patient education on renal disease, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives.
