Pediatric Hospitalist Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Medford, OR • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Jun 1, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call only • Call Schedule: 3 weeks of 24-hr call; 7a-7a - Mon-Sun • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 20-30 mins • Patient Demographics: Newborns only • Admission: 1 • Discharge: 1 • Rounding Included: 3 hrs (in-person rounding/day) - If called-in & only if babies are admitted in; To discharge newborn patients; Would be called in for an emergency event. • Support Staff: RN, CNA & Resp Tech • Required Procedures: - Non-Invasive Ventilation Mgmt (neo-puff) - Intubation (ETT/NT): Newborn - UVC, Needle pneumothorax (Decompression) - X-ray interpretation • Beds in the Dept: 8 • No. of Nursery Floors: 3 • Facility PEDs Level: I • EMR: Epic • Other Info: Don't deliver below 36 weeks • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active OR License
- BC/BE (If BE, must be 5 yrs post residency)
- OR DEA
- BLS, NRP
