About The Position

Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Seasonal PDI Service Technician for our Marshall, Michigan location. This position will work 20-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Who we are looking for: We are looking for a PDI Service Tech to assist with Installation of after market components, PDI new buses, and entry level service tech tasks.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
CDL with air brake endorsement
Work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Bus Detail
Lot Work
Bus Inspections
Install components on buses and perform general maintenance on vehicles
Oil changes
Off Lease Sales Repairs
Lower Level Technician work – Part replacement, stop arms, brakes, shocks
Required to frequently lift/carry 50lbs
Must be able work efficiently and neatly
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Assist in daily responsibilities of the department
Must be detail oriented
Must have own hand tools and toolbox (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutter, etc.)
