Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Cardiac Monitor Technician provides continuous observation of the patients' cardiac rhythm. Identifies basic arrhythmias and provides prompt notification of changes/issues to the RN or Physician. Troubleshoots false alarms and system issues. Documents values and mounts rhythm strips according to unit standards. Will also provide continuous observation of the patients who are being monitored during special procedures. What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity
  • Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire
  • Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays
  • Basic Life Support
