About The Position

JSM Airport Services is seeking a highly motivated PBB Jr. Technician to join our growing team at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for an individual ready to commit to a long-term professional future with our company, starting with an expected commitment of one year or more. The PBB Jr. Technician is an entry level position with varied responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the maintenance of the airport's Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB). The primary function of this position is to provide electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance support.

Requirements

High School Graduate or General Educational Development (GED) required.
Must possess at least 1(+) year of mechanical work experience.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals and basic mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, which will include, but will not be limited to, cleaning of passenger boarding bridges and surrounding areas, as well as the removal of debris from between bridges.
Diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior staff.
Make minor adjustments to ensure system functionality and reliability pertaining to both electrical and mechanical items.
Work with a variety of tools/hand tools safely and properly, as well as utilize any/all appropriate safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Safety and compliance training is required.
Perform other reasonable ancillary duties to support the operation and our customer.
