Requirements

3+ years of payroll experience, with job costing a plus
You thrive in an environment with a constant and sustainable pace and take pride in a job well done
You drive consistency, timeliness, and transparency
You strive for inbox zero and are organized to a fault
You have strong Excel skills and ERP experience

Nice To Haves

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) a plus

Responsibilities

Manage and audit employee records in payroll system
Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees in a multi-state environment
Ensure compliance with all state laws regarding final pay and related payroll requirements
Administer wage garnishments, including order review, system entry, payment processing, and agency correspondence
Support mandatory reporting and preparation of payroll-related filings with federal, state, and local authorities
Troubleshoot payroll system issues and manage cases with payroll system vendors through resolution
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from management and employees
Assist with internal and external audits
Communicate process improvement opportunities and payroll issues
Additional duties as assigned
