About The Position

The Payroll Specialist will manage full-cycle payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and serve as a subject matter expert on Paylocity systems.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for executing payroll processes, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance while leveraging Paylocity to optimize workflows and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with strong Paylocity expertise
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll using Paylocity
• Audit payroll data for accuracy including hours, deductions, and taxes
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Handle payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Generate payroll reports and support audits as needed
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related initiatives
