About The Position

Academy Bus , the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the US is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position works out of our Leonardo, NJ location. As a Payroll Specialist at Academy, you will support all aspects of payroll processing and become a trusted partner and contact for our management teams and employees. Requirements

• Experience or interest in internal customer service, book keeping, or payroll management
• Moderate experience working with Excel
• Experience working with Ultipro or other HRIS platform a plus, but not required
• Experience working with Cognos or other reporting platform a plus, but not required
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Review and process weekly payroll
• Support time and attendance upload procedures
• Troubleshoot basic system issues
• Independently analyze payroll errors and related issues
• Produce custom payroll reports
• Provide internal customer service for management and employees
• Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and take action
• Actively engage with payroll team and leadership
