About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Orlando, FL location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and relevant laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge using Paycor is strongly preferrable.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
  • Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 and 1099 processing.
