Valsoft is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team and support multi-entity U.S. and international payroll operations. POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly driven Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll processes for our U.S. entities, while supporting selected international subsidiaries. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of U.S. payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax, state and federal labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience with multiple payroll platforms and tools
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with international payroll is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Input, audit, and process U.S. payroll for multiple subsidiaries with varying levels of complexity
  • Support payroll implementation of new acquisitions
  • Resolve payroll inquiries from stakeholders and serve as the primary escalation point
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance for payroll transitions and data migrations
  • Participate in year-end close activities, audits, and remittance to U.S. state authorities
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state payroll regulations
  • Contribute to process improvements and identify best practices
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams
  • Lead and participate in special projects and ad-hoc initiatives
