It's a new day with a new opportunity at 8am! About the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of payroll processing experience and strong proficiency in Workday. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday payroll systems required.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll best practices in the US and Canada.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule using Workday.
  • Review payroll data including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and tax documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding employee changes, benefits, and compensation updates.
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
  • Manage garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
