As a Payroll Data Specialist, you are the owner of the data conversion development life cycle and methodology. This includes requirements solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, deployment tools, and maintenance. You will be responsible for the conversion of client data from various record-keeping systems into Corebridge Financial proprietary systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or any combination of education and experience, which provide an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 2+ years work experience in payroll and or data analysis.
  • Knowledge of business analysis and ability to understand the logic behind data, including where it came from and the data’s end purpose.
  • Experience in MS Office applications, including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • High level of initiative and able to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Positive attitude and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client data in the format it is received, identify data deficiencies, define remediation of deficiencies and construct a statement of work that properly outlines the conversion process to reformat into Corebridge Financial’s data requirements.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to record-keeper, internal project management and client data end users.
  • Effectively communicate data requirements with the client, record-keeper and or project team, and perform a code-based programming solution to achieve a successful data conversion.
  • Build tools that transform massive amounts of data into the product requirements and formatting.
  • Maintain and enhance various parts of existing client service solutions.
  • Execute each conversion with high quality and consistent on-time results.
