The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing both weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. This includes ensuring pay is processed in a timely and accurate manner, while adhering to compliance with Federal, State, and local government regulations. The position requires working knowledge of the payroll cycle from beginning to end, including timesheet reconciliation, performing, and understanding hours and earnings calculations, and strong working knowledge of the implications of benefit deductions and tax withholdings. Finally, the position requires ability to partner with our internal and external clients to resolve challenges encountered throughout the day/week.
