Principal Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in processing the Company’s semi-monthly and special payrolls. Maintain and update payroll records. Track, manage and collect various payroll related benefits, deductions and arrearages. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory reporting requirements. Assist in preparation and review of data needed for federal and state tax filings, annual reporting, W-2’s and audits. Assist with month-end financial close by reviewing and analyzing data and preparing payroll related journal entries for approval. Resolve employee concerns regarding wage payments and associated taxation or other deduction issues. Ensure timely communication of changes to payroll policies, procedures and regulations. Assist with 401k plan administration. Consistent focus on process improvement in payroll and general ledger areas of responsibility.
