About The Position

We’re a fast-growing automotive organization committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers and a supportive, high-performance environment for our team. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who can take ownership of our payroll operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across 53 dealerships, 13 collision centers and 2 car washes. The Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll functions for a multi-location automotive business. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex payroll processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Paylocity , Reynolds & Reynolds , and payroll tax compliance is essential.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong proficiency with Paylocity payroll systems
  • Experience working with Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management software
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax laws and reporting requirements
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees
  • Maintain and optimize payroll workflows within Paylocity
  • Coordinate payroll-related data and reporting through Reynolds & Reynolds
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Reconcile payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports
  • Audit payroll records regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Partner with HR and accounting to support compensation changes, benefits, and reporting needs
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity
  • Maintain confidentiality and always uphold data integrity
