Requirements

  • Management experience leading a team of 3 or more employees
  • 3–5 years of payroll experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Dealership experience helpful, but not required
  • Experience with Paycom preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a payroll team of 5 employees
  • Oversee payroll processing for multiple dealership locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain employee earnings and deduction records within the payroll system
  • Assist with audits, account reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting
  • Research and respond to employee and manager questions regarding payroll and timekeeping
  • Monitor payroll schedules, compliance requirements, and internal controls
  • Support continuous process improvements within the payroll department
