About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join the Human Resources organization. In this role, you will: Process end‑to-end payroll cycles using the Workday Payroll module, including on‑cycle, off‑cycle, and retro calculations. Maintain and validate payroll inputs, earnings, deductions, one‑time payments, tax elections, and adjustments across multi-state populations. Manage payroll data integrity through advanced Workday reporting, audits, and data validations. Utilize real‑time reporting and audit capabilities to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. Conduct recurring payroll audits, discrepancy investigations, and control testing. Maintain documentation required for internal and external audits. Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, system errors, and employee concerns, leveraging Workday audit tools and insights. Partner with HR, Accounting, Benefits, Time & Absence, and other operational teams to ensure alignment and accuracy across all payroll touchpoints. Participate in payroll‑related projects such as process redesign, system conversions, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
