About The Position

Payroll Coordinator AdvanStaff is looking for an experienced payroll specialist local to the Las Vegas area! This position will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple clients in a variety of payroll cycles. They will be required to regularly communicate with client administrators, internal staff, client employees and external agencies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Their primary duties involve managing payroll data, calculating salaries and deductions, preparing payroll reports, and maintaining payroll records. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-5 years direct, multi-state payroll processing experience in payroll.
  • Proficient in using payroll software or systems; knowledge of popular payroll software like Prism HR, ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) certification is a plus!
